The setting was fantastic and good. Also, we were very close to the sea and restaurants and supermarkets near by and a more traditional sand beach.

We recently stayed at a stunning chateau on the Normandy Coast and had the most amazing experience. the chateau, which has been beautifully renovated, offers five modern apartments with all the amenities you could need. the grounds are gorgeous and provide a tranquil setting after a day of exploring the D-Day sites. Our host, Sandra, was delightful and even arranged for dinner reservations and private tours. We were truly impressed by the charm and elegance of this hidden gem. Cons: Nothing, all was excellent! 👍.

Just down the road from the beach, this charming Belle Époque mansion offers modern apartments with beautiful original details and a gracious host. the apartment is tastefully furnished with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture. the chateau has a lovely park to enjoy, and the host even provided a grill for barbecuing. the location is within walking distance to a traditional sand beach where you can swim and the nearby British memorial.
The toilet in the apartment is separate from the bathrooms, which could be inconvenient for some guests.

Stayed at a fancy chateau with free WiFi and an indoor pool. Enjoyed a continental breakfast and had amazing views of the lake. Also, had my own private plunge pool and access to a barbecue. Great place to relax!
Oh, I just loved having to walk 15 km to the Museum of the Bayeux Tapestry. So convenient.

From start to finish, our stay at this hidden gem was mind-blowing. The service provided by Sandra was absolutely superb, with her always on hand to assist us. The apartment itself was spacious and beautifully decorated, with incredibly comfortable beds. The grounds of the property were jaw-dropping, filled with a variety of friendly animals that my kids adored feeding. The indoor swimming pool, available year-round, provided endless fun. Additionally, the location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and next to the British Normandy Memorial, offering phenomenal views of the coast. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and highly recommend this place for an unforgettable vacation experience.

The Château Cote De Nacre was a dreamy getaway for our New Year's celebration. The beautifully remodeled apartments were fully equipped with everything we needed and more, including a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The private grounds, with a serene pond and friendly animals, created a magical atmosphere that we loved. One of the highlights was being able to feed the ducks and geese every morning and evening. the location of the chateau was perfect for exploring the Normandy Coast and visiting the D-Day sites. We couldn't have asked for a better base for our sightseeing adventures.
While our experience at the Château Cote De Nacre was outstanding, the WiFi wasn't the strongest. However, this minor inconvenience turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it gave us the perfect excuse to disconnect from technology and fully immerse ourselves in the peaceful surroundings.

The hotel's decoration is simply beautiful, with a charming and elegant design that made me feel like I was living in a fairytale. The general areas of the hotel were spacious and comfortable, perfect for senior people like me to relax and enjoy. I also appreciated how accessible the hotel was, with easy access to all the facilities and amenities. The staff, who we affectionately called the "children of the staff," were incredibly helpful and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay.
If I could ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people, it would be to have more handrails and support in the bathrooms. As lovely as the showers and wash basins were, a few extra handrails would have made it easier for us to feel secure and confident while using the facilities.
